Robert Prowse's head shot Robert Prowse is an accomplished singer, conductor and teacher of music, residing in the New York Metropolitan area. As baritone soloist, he has performed opera, oratorio, and recital. He has had a 35-year career as a university music professor, most recently conducting the choirs at New Jersey City University (NJCU) for 25 years, where he was Coordinator of Choral Studies and Classical Voice in the Music, Dance and Theatre Department. He holds the Doctor of Musical Arts (DMA) degree from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, and other degrees from Westminster Choir College and Glassboro State College.
